To celebrate and encourage more local skilled young people to take up an apprenticeship, Rochester and Strood MP Kelly Tolhurst will host an Apprenticeship Fair on Friday 4th May 2018, 10am to 2pm at the Medway University Technical College.

There will be numerous businesses at the fair, all showcasing their apprenticeship schemes for a wide variety of roles. The event will provide students and jobseekers with a fantastic opportunity to find out about learning new skills and adding to the next generation of a business’s future and culture. 

Businesses confirmed as attending include:-

“Apprenticeships are so important to those undertaking them – giving them the skills they need to succeed in life and in a role they want to progress in – and to employers, giving them the opportunity to mould and shape the workforce they need.

“I am delighted to announce I will be holding an apprenticeship fair on Friday 4th May, where businesses can showcase their apprenticeship schemes and students close to graduation and jobseekers can look to secure their futures here in Medway and help boost our local economy.”
