Remuneration: NJC Scale D2 Point 12-21 (Actual pro rated salary £10,895 – £13,031 based on experience)

Medway UTC is the provider of an exciting blend of education specialising in the Engineering & Construction industries, and is supported by an extensive network of employer organisations operating in these areas. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual as Medway UTC are seeking to appoint highly motivated and skilled Teaching Assistant to support our students in class, manage small group work and lead interventions.

Desirable skills include:
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- Enthusiasm and resilience
- Positive behaviour management skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Good team working with excellent communication
- Well organised and good record keeping
Hours: typically 0830 – 1530 (negotiable for the right candidate) Monday to Friday, term times only.
The actual salary, dependent on experience, is between £10,895 – £13,031 which is pro rated down from £17,173 – £20,541
