Mrs Waters, Parent of a year 10 student
Once our son heard about the UTC he was constantly talking about finding out more about this brand new college for Students from year 10.  This made our enthusiasm in the UTC grow with his.  Having older children who have left school, we have experienced the challenges that finding a job in Medway throw at young people.  If Ben had continued at his Secondary school he would have done well but not studied much at all to do with Engineering, his first passion.  The UTC gives pupils the opportunity to gain the Engineering and Construction qualifications, along side their GCSE’s and A Levels, they need to move onto the next challenging chapter of their lives, being employed. We feel that for any Boy or Girl in year 10 upwards, who wants to develop a career in Engineering or Construction the UTC is the best and only sensible option for them.

I chose to send my son to UTC to give him the chance to succeed in life to gain hands on skills & experience life skills in the working environment, I feel he will thrive with the all the opportunities offered to him & go on to be the flight engineer he wants to be in the RAF.
Mr and Mrs Russell, Parents of a year 12 student
Absolutely delighted so far with the choice of courses, enthusiasm and support our son has been given from staff at Medway UTC.
Fantastic opportunity from a brand new type of school that will enable him to develop and encourage him in his future studies.  More opportunities than his old school, treating him more like an adult and feel that with the range of sponsors he will have more chance of getting an apprenticeship than had he stayed at school.
Mr Willson, Parent of a year 10 and year 12 student
I opted for Medway UTC because their dynamic and progressive vision for education is futuristic, backed by a committed and efficient Principal and staff, I think I can safely say that with MedwayUTC the sky is the limit.
